LOEB DRAMA CENTER Street Map - MBTA Subway - Driving & Parking - Seating Charts - Access see also ZERO ARROW THEATRE The Loeb Drama Center, located near Harvard Square at 64 Brattle Street, Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA, is the headquarters of the American Repertory Theatre and houses its main box office. The Loeb's 556-seat theatre is the venue for most A.R.T. productions as well as fall and spring mainstage productions of the Harvard-Radcliffe Dramatic Club (HRDC). The building also contains the Loeb Ex, or Experimental Theatre, a "black box" that is used by the A.R.T.'s Institute for Advanced Theatre Training and the HRDC. Take the MBTA Red Line to the Harvard Square (T) stop. Use the Brattle St. exit and walk to 64 Brattle.

If you're coming by car, one option is to park at the Charles Hotel Garage (One Bennett Sreet, coupon available, call 617.491.0298 for current rates). Bring your parking ticket to the Box Office on the day or night of your performance for validation. We also offer validation for the University Place Garage (617.491.0801).
Exit Soldier's Field Road at Harvard Square, turn right onto John F. Kennedy Street (indicated on map as JFK St.) and cross the river and Memorial Drive. Turn left onto Eliot Street, left again onto Bennett Street, continue past the Charles Hotel on your left and turn left onto University Road; the entrance to the Charles Square Garage will be immediately on your left, underneath the Charles Hotel. The entrance to the University Place Garage will be on the right. Walking to the Loeb Drama Center from the Charles Square or University Place Parking Garage: exit onto University Road, turn left onto Mt. Auburn Street, proceed for one block, and then turn right onto Hilliard Street. The theatre is one block ahead on the left, at the corner of Hilliard and Brattle.

Seating for the Loeb Drama Center mainstage can be arranged in proscenium (seats all face forward), thrust (seating on three sides of stage), or stadium (seating surrounds the stage) configuration. A special configuration will be used for Gatz: Part 1 & 2 in January 2010. Click charts above for detailed views showing individual seat locations.

The theatre is fully wheelchair accessible with an automatic door from the sidewalk located near the the corner of Brattle and Hilliard Streets. The lobby and entrance to the theatre are all at sidewalk level. wheelchair-accessible bathroom is located to the left as you face the box office in the front lobby (ushers or reception desk personnel will direct you). The theatre is equipped with an infrared amplification system for the hard of hearing; headsets must be reserved in advance from the box office.
